Confirmation

The Confirmation ministry program at Christ the King is designed to help children in the 6th to 8th grades to affirm the promises made in their baptisms and to help them grow in their faith. Classes meet from 7:00 -7:45 on Wednesday nights.

Our 6th grade class discusses the basics of the Christian faith and uses the Teen Alpha curriculum. Students will also be immersed in the Old Testament through the Here we Stand Curriculum. This class is currently taught by Lou Reda.

7th grade students will study the life and ministry of Jesus. This class is taught in a multimedia format drawing ideas and resources from the students as well as today’s culture.

The 8th grade confirmation class is taught by Pastor Dave. He teaches in a discussion style format that helps students apply the Small Catechism to their lives. Student are confirmed in Mid to late May.
